a voice a beer and a trivia game

some pictures from classes today.
we have very little free time during the day -
the elevators are a 20 minute ordeal without
a tremendous amount of luck, so lunch is
a 30 minute dash and there is a short break
between the last two classes, when I
run out for a green tea and a breath
of air in Madison Square Park.

before scene study class, multi-tasking:
jaqueline dupre on the earphones,
chipotle in the bowl, and "proof" on the table.
I have a scene coming up that will be performed
with a partner; we've been specifically instructed NOT
to rehearse with one another, because in film and
television there is little or no rehearsal, and
typically when you walk on the set
it is the first time you will meet the person
you will act with, even if your characters
have known each other for a lifetime. That is
what preparation is for, kittens.

voiceover class. one of my favorites. fun, fun fun
we did a VW Taureg commercial today. Seriously.

I'm thinking about Proof. I'm assigned to play Catherine.
Good thing I'm definitely either a math genius or
totally crazy.

the end of the day in Brooklyn-
A lovely beer garden on "trivia night"
(quiz for money, very nice...) had a
cheeseburger and a heifeweizen with
dean and a friend that works at the
Bronx Zoo...this place is right around the
corner, and since the beer was 16 oz, and
you all know how much beer I can really, really
handle, it was a good thing. Bzzzzzz.....
